Applied Knowledge into Reading
One of the subjects that are taught at EOS is STEAM class. It engages our children in solving real-world problems with Skill Sharpeners: STEAM. STEAM is an approach to project-based learning that uses a variety of skills to engage children in empathizing, thinking critically, collaborating, and coming up with solutions to solve real-world problems.
After children read 5 books per week, they will receive the book report which gives children opportunities to discuss and write about their favorite book.
The Book Club program helps children capture the attention of young readers and engage them with quality literature.
Show and Share or Sharing Time
Show and tell is the practice of showing something to an audience and describing it to them, usually a toy or other children's-oriented item. At EOS in a typical session of show and tell, a child brings an item from home and will explain to the class why they chose that particular item, where they got it, and other relevant information all in English. This subject is the most popular and loved class at EOS.

Our EOS teachers are required to teach grammar classes to children. Through this class our children get to improve their writing skills. Depending on the level of their English, teachers get to pick correct grammar skills for children. Mostly, it is related to Wonders' subject since Wonders teaches grammar inside the book as well
Enhancing English Skills
Vocabulary study class helps in deciding the kind of language to be learnt and taught. It is very difficult to know all the words in English as even native speakers don't know all the words. Vocabulary plays a fundamental role in the reading process, and contributes greatly to a reader's comprehension. We want our children to learn those fundamental roles while they are learning at EOS.
Children cannot understand a text without knowing what most of the words mean. Our children learn the meanings of most words indirectly, through everyday experiences with oral and written language. Other words are learned through carefully designed instruction.
Enhancing English Skills
Our chant & Theme Song classes allow the iterative speaking or singing of words or sounds, which our children enjoy so much. By participating in these classes, it allows our children to express their speaking in different tones. Also it helps our children to review the theme that they are learning in class by theme song class.
Building Up the Literacy
Teachers read many different story books to our children during literacy and storytelling classes. Depending on the level of their English level, it is taught differently. With the purpose of understanding or expressing thoughts or ideas in written form in some specific context of use, our children are exposed to a variety of stories.
Advancing the Writing
Applied writing class is made to assist children to express their ideas and opinions into English writing. Even though we do not use specific textbooks for this class, teachers use their writing techniques and skills to teach children according to their English level.
